چکیده

Bernal suggested that clays might have played a significant role in primitive earth through the process of concentration and adsorption of the biologically formed biomonomers and thus protecting them against hydrolytic fission.Adsorption of adenine was studied in presence of montmorillonite clay with or without cations Ca+,Cu+,Mg+.Studies carried out have shown that adsorption of adenine was dependent on pH and shows Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Percent binding and values of Langmuir adsorption isotherm on montmorillonite clay with or without divalent cations show that adsorption trend largely depend on the nature of adsorbate and the adsorbent.

Heat Induced Formation Of Peptides From Reaction Mixture Of Glycine - Glutamic Acid And Glycine-Leucine In Presence And Absence Of Montmorillonite Clay With Or Without Metal Ions Under Wetting Drying Cycles Of Primitive Earth

The effect of heat on the reaction system of glycine glutamic acid and glycineleucine at 90 ± 5 0 C has been investigated in aqueous environment in the presence of montmorillonite clay with or without divalent cations (Ca 2+ , Cu 2+ and Mg 2+ ) under prebiotic wetting-drying cycles of primitive earth. The resulting products were analyzed by paper chromatography, UV as well as by High Performanc...

Investigation of the effect of different percentages of material on the microstructure and morphology of montmorillonite nanoparticles

In this research, Montmorillonite clay nanoparticles were produced using mechanical methods and the effect of different percentages of tetra n-butyl ammonium chloride (TNBAC) as a surfactant and butyl ammonium chloride as a modifier (TNBAC) was performed. The microstructural and morphological properties of montmorillonite clay nanoparticles in the presence and absence of surfactant as well as s...

Extraction of Some Divalent Metal Ions (Cadmium, Nickel and Lead) from Different Tea and Rice Samples Using Ghezeljeh Nanoclay (Geleh-Sar-Shoor) as a New Natural Sorbent

This article presents the method of extraction-preconcentration of Lead, Cadmium, and Nickel ions from food samples using the Ghezeljeh montmorillonite nanoclay (Geleh-Sar-Shoor) as a new native adsorbent in batch single component systems. The extraction-preconcentration of heavy metals were carried out by applying the solid phase extraction (SPE) method followed by atomic abs...

Interaction of aminotriazole with montmorillonite and Mg-vermiculite at pH

The interaction of aminotriazole (AMT) at pH 4 on Wyoming montmorillonite (mainly with Na ions) and Mg-vermiculite has been studied by X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy. The AMT is adsorbed on montmorillonite in the cationic form by cation exchange. The amount of pesticide adsorbed was 71 mEq/100 g, which comprises *91% of the CEC of this sample (78.2 mEq/100 g). Saturation was reache...
